Happy Valentine's Day

I spent Valentine's Day on the couch with ice cream and girly movies. I went to a wedding yesterday so between that and the chic flicks I've definitely gotten in the Valentine's Spirit. And today I got a lot of phone calls and texts from my friends and family, so it's been a pretty good day.

Still so swollen. It actually swelled up pretty bad and I thought it was from overuse. My occupational therapist said that it was probably overuse, but also might have had something to do with the storm that was in town. I'm sensitive to weather changes now, I guess.

Many of my supplies for my arm... I've moved from gauze and medical tape to pressure sleeves and ace bandages. The brace is the constant.

I have to wear a gel dressing over my scar at night. The scar tissue is really hard and can cause problems by adhering to other tissue. I have to massage it on a regular basis to break up and soften the tissue and the gel dressing should help, too.
